The way a Showroom works
Once you are in a car showroom, you are firmly in salesperson’s territory. The salesperson is in control and will guide you towards the car he/she wishes to sell.
- Keep yourself grounded and stick to what you are looking for.
- Stick to what car you are searching for and what you are going to use your car for.
- Listen to the salesperson in terms of what he/she says, however, do not get duped into taking anything you do not want.
- At some point you are likely to be sitting in front of the sales manager. His/her job is to attempt to get as much money out of you as possible. Should you have a budget, try to stick to it. Do not get talked into increasing your budget.
