  • You have to inform the DVLA of the sale by filling in and sending off the form which is to be found on the vehicle’s V5C registration document.
  • Should your car be listed with a security register (like the RetainaGroup) you have to inform them of the sale, too. The forms that need to be filled in by you and sent off ought to be with your car’s documentation. However, if that is not the case, phone the number on the car’s windows.
