Toyota have announced they will launch their new 2007 challenger car, the TF107 on Friday 12 January at an event near its factory in Cologne, Germany .
Toyota, are still looking for that grand prix victory, and are hoping the new car will be an improvement on last year's disappointing model .
The TF107 will be the Toyotas sixth F1 challenger since entering the sport in 2002. The team will also use the event to celebrate 50 years of Toyota in motor-sport and preview their new racing car.
In addition to the TF107, race drivers Ralf Schumacher and Jarno Trulli will stay on for a third season with the team, while Frenchman Franck Montagny was recently confirmed as Toyotas third driver for 2007 following a year racing and testing for Super Aguri.
The Japanese team is the third to confirm its launch date for next season. The McLaren Mercedes Vodafone, was the latest car to be unveiled on the 15 January in Valencia with BMW Sauber unveiling the F1.07 at the same venue a day later.
Toyota will be hoping the TF107 will put it back on an upward trend in F1, after finishing a strong fourth in the 2005 constructor's championship, Toyota experienced a more difficult 2006 campaign, ending the year in sixth place.
