Mazda has released the first pictures of its new Mazda2 super-mini, to be launched in Geneva next month.
The new look Mazda2 is more than just a refresh of the current Mazda however it is still the same size as the current car, and will still have a 1.5 litre engine. The car is much more stylish than the Mazda2 that came 121 in the league of starter cars.
Alastair Doak, spokesman for Mazda Australia said, "This car is much more global in its design and looks very much like the Sassou concept from the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2005."
The Mazda2 was voted the overall winner in What Car? magazine Comfort Test in 2003 and for its interior with easy access in 2004. A spacious cabin, exceptional functionality and generous equipment has attracted over 410,000 customers in the four years from January 2003 globally.
The new Mazda2, which will have an improved performance and fuel economy, is expected to be lighter than the outgoing car .
