The first pictures of Citroen’s brand new C5 have been unveiled along with details of the car’s engines .
The new model by the French carmaker will be available in saloon and estate versions, while buyers will have a wide choice of engines, including two petrol versions and four oil burners.
The new C5 will feature several quirky new additions, such as a choice of suspension set-ups and a seat back massage function.
Other great new additions include a collapsible pedal assembly, which causes the brake and clutch pedals to retract into the floor of the footwell to limit injury to the driver’s legs and feet in the event of a collision.
The C5 will go on sale in the UK from early 2008, although buyers will have to wait until nearer the launch date to find out the car’s price plans .
