Japanese carmaker Nissan has developed a special all-round viewing system to aid drivers with their parking .
The Around View Monitor will enable the driver to have a bird's-eye view of the car via the installation of four wide-angle cameras that can view 180 degrees. The cameras will be placed at the front and rear of the vehicle and one on each door mirror .
The images are relayed to a screen that shows the view from above and on the left, and a front or rear view on the left which one you chose to view depends on whether you are in forward or reverse gears.
The new viewing system lets the driver see every corner of the vehicle when parking the car, which Nissan hopes will provide more precise and bump-free parking .
Also included in the parking system are sensors on all four corners of the car, on-screen graphics and a beeping alert all designed to aid the drivers judgement.
Nissan has not yet confirmed whether the Around View Monitor will be launched in the UK, although it has been suggested that the companys new Infiniti brand (due for UK release next year) will be the systems most likely carrier, should it be released in Britain .
