Prestige carmaker Lexus is set to launch a multi-million pound advertising campaign in order to promote its range of hybrid models during the final few months of the year.
The campaign, believed to top £6 million, will take a multi-media approach and include national TV, magazine, billboard, and online advertising .
Lexus said the campaign would emphasise the engineering innovations that it claims have enabled it to build cars with better fuel efficiency and emissions levels than rival premium market brands .
So far, the Lexus range of hybrid models includes the RX 400h SUV, the GS 450h performance saloon and the LS 600h luxury flagship saloon, which will be launched in October.
The new LS 600h hybrid limousine will be the world's first vehicle to feature a full hybrid V8 powertrain.
The hybrid advertising campaign, which will run for six weeks in the UK, began yesterday across TV screens.
