The Vauxhall Corsa SRi has made its long-awaited return to UK car showrooms following an absence of nearly two years.
The hot hatch from the British carmaker is the latest addition to the new Corsa line-up, which the company hopes will broaden the appeal of the car .
The car is available with two types of engine - a new 150PS turbo 1.6-litre engine, or a 125PS 1.7 diesel powerplant.
The petrol unit, based on the Corsa VXR engine, gives the SRi the ability to accelerate from 0-60mph in just 7.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 130mph, while the diesel model sprints to 60mph in 9.3 seconds, with a top speed of 121mph.
The Corsa SRi also comes in both three-door and five-door versions and is available for sale now, with prices ranging from £13,625 for the 1.6 turbo three-door model to £14,885 for the 1.7 CDTi five-door version.
