Renault has finally revealed details of its new entry-level hot hatch, the Renaultsport Twingo 133.
Almost identical to the Twingo RS concept that was revealed at the Paris Motor Show two years ago, the official model has been given sporty and aggressive styling with wider front and rear wings and a aerodynamic spoiler.
The cars interior features a four-spoke steering wheel and rev-counter located directly behind the steering wheel .
Under the bonnet the hot hatch is powered by a 1.6-litre 16V engine which delivers 133bhp at 6,750rpm and 160Nm of torque at 4,400rpm, while the addition of a four-into-one exhaust enhances the performance whilst lowering emissions .
Buyers are given the choice of two suspension set-ups a standard set up and an even racier Cup chassis.
Prices for the Renaultsport Twingo 133 will start from £11,500 when it goes on sale this September. Orders for the car are now being taken and Renault have confirmed that the first 133 people to place an order will receive a free track day and tuition .
