Seat has released first pictures of the new Ibiza SportCoupe - the three-door version of the new supermini .
The carmaker said the new model has been designed to look more aggressive than its five-door partner, featuring lowered headlights, a repositioned radiator grille, and being lowered by 17mm.
Seat says the performance FR and Cupra versions will also receive the brands SC styling when they are launched in the coming months.
Although exact engine and trim combinations are yet to be confirmed, Seat has revealed that a seven-speed, double-clutch, semi-automatic gearbox the first of its kind to ever feature in a supermini - will be optional on 104bhp 1.6-litre versions of the car .
Steve Robertson, head of marketing at Seat, said: "Traditionally, a significant part of our business has been built on the success of three-door Ibiza, so the unveiling of this stunning new SportCoupé is a key moment for us."
The five-door version of the Ibiza is set arrive in UK showrooms later this month, but Seat is yet to confirm a UK launch date and pricing for the SportCoupe.
