Lexus has launched a sports edition of it’s IS executive saloon, the IS 250 SR.
Despite being based on the entry-level IS 250 model, Lexus said the addition of a new bodykit is designed to make the new car look like the muscular IS-F performance car .
Other new additions to the car include 17-inch alloy wheels, aluminium pedals and heated seats, while standard features include 10 airbags, climate control, cruise control and keyless entry.
The £3500 worth of extra kit will set buyers back an extra £1,000 over the price of the standard IS 250, with prices for the IS 250 SR starting from £24,990.
The 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine, which outputs 204bhp, powers the new IS from 0-62mph in 8.1 seconds, when combined with the manual gearbox or 8.4secs with the automatic.
