Luxury carmaker BMW has announced its hybrid-powered limousine will be officially unveiled next month at the Paris Motor Show .
Although officially a concept car, the hybrid limo is expected to go on sale next autumn in the form a 7 Series ActiveHybrid .
Although exact details of the cars emissions are yet to be released, BMW revealed it uses 15 per cent less fuel than its 750i counterpart, suggesting a combined average of around 28mpg.
In terms of power, the combination of a 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine and a lithium-ion battery unit helps produce a total 427bhp.
The Paris Motor Show will also see the covers come off BMWs hybrid 4x4, the X6 ActiveHybrid .
