New Renault Megane To Hit UK Dealerships In November

The all-new Renault Megane is to go on sale in the UK in November, with prices starting from £13,995, the French carmaker has confirmed.

The new five-door hatchback will be available with a choice of three petrol engines and three diesels.

The petrol range consists of 98bhp and 108bhp 1.6-litre engines and a 177bhp 2.0-litre unit, while the diesel range includes 85bhp and 105bhp 1.5-litre units and 128bhp 1.9-litre.

Buyers will also have the choice of three different trim levels; Expression, Dynamique and Privilege.

All models will come equipped with six airbags, a CD player, air-con, front and rear electric windows, heated mirrors, anti-skid control, stability and understeer control, a trip computer and keyless entry as standard.

Dynamique models add Bluetooth connectivity, automatic headlights and wipers, cruise control, front fog lights and 16-inch alloy wheels, while owners of Privilege models will also receive dual-zone climate control, electric-folding door mirrors and rear parking sensors as standard.

Optional extras for buyers include leather upholstery, heated front seats, stereo upgrades, a sat-nav system, a panoramic sunroof and Xenon headlights.

A new sports styling package, including a spoiler and body kit, will also be available for the new Megane .
