Alfa Romeo has announced that its new Giulietta small family car will go on sale in the UK from £16,995.
The Italian carmakers stylish five-door model, which is designed to take on likes of the hugely popular VW Golf and Ford Focus models, will come with a choice of five engines (three petrol and two diesel) and three mainstream trims (Turismo, Lusso and Veloce).
The cheapest model in the range is the 1.4 litre 120bhp Turismo which comes with a price tag of £16,995.
The other petrolpowered cars are the 168bhp 1.4 Multiair (costing from £19,495) and the top-of-the range 1750 TBi Cloverleaf model that produces 235bhp and has a 0-62 time of 6.8 seconds, but costs a hefty £24,495.
The Cloverleaf also boasts its own trim, 18-inch alloy wheels, a dark titanium finish, tinted windows, red brake callipers and the iconic Cloverleaf badge, although it is the only model not to feature an engine stop-start system.
The diesel-powered Giuliettas include with the 103bhp 1.6 JTDM-2 Turismo at £17,895, and the more powerful 168bhp 2.0-litre models which are priced from £21,195.
Every Giulietta model comes with air-conditioning, four electric windows, LED front and rear lights and six airbags as standard, as well as Alfa Romeos DNA system.
