Renault has announced UK prices for its new Twingo and Scenic models.

The updated Twingo, which boasts a redesigned front end, will cost from £10,350 when it goes on sale in UK dealerships next month.

Standard equipment includes cruise control, Bluetooth, an upgraded audio system and, from March, a USB port.

Extra options include climate control, electric sunroof and an iPod-compatible radio, which can be used in conjunction with a downloadable Renault-developed app to provide GPS navigation and analyse real-time fuel consumption.

The car is powered by the same 74bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine found in the current Twingo and the Clio, which offers average fuel economy of 55.4mpg and CO2 emissions of 119g/km.

Meanwhile, the new Renault Scenic 2012 range, which includes the upgraded five-seat Scenic and seven-seat Grand Scenic MPVs, is already available to UK buyers, with prices starting at £18,325 for the entry-level version 1.6 VVT 110 TomTom .

New engine choices include an eco-friendly 1.5 dCi Stop &Start engine, which uses the existing 1.5 dCi diesel engine, but adds stop-start and brake-energy-regeneration systems, and a new 1.2 TCe 115 petrol model.

Standard equipment includes alloys, sat-nav, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and wipers, Hill Start Assist, and Bluetooth, while new cost options include Renault’s Visio System, which combines a lane-departure-warning system with an automatic headlight function that detects the lights of nearby vehicles and/or street lighting.

In terms of styling, the Scenic’s come with new front lights, bumper and grille, as well as updated rear lights, LED daytime running lights and extra gloss black and chrome trim.
